History
Started by Mary & John Kerr in 1999 the Kerr House has been receiving guests continuously ever since. The current owners are the third caretakers and have run the business for the last four years. Guests from all over the United States and from Europe have enjoyed the hospitality and great breakfasts at the Kerr House.

..fine lodging in historic Statesville, North Carolina. The Kerr House Bed & Breakfast, built in 1891, is located in the Davie Avenue Historic District; an area with many beautiful homes on wide, tree-lined streets. The house has a beautiful wrap-around porch with comfortable chairs and rockers and our backyard has a large well-lit parking lot, shaded by pecan trees and a magnificent 200 year-old white oak. Inside, our public rooms and bedrooms are decorated with many paintings and prints that we have collected on our travels.

Fantastic find! The owners are wonderful! Everything was very clean. The neighborhood was quiet, and the parking area well lit at night. Breakfast was delicious! We highly recommend a stay here.
