The Pionus Parrots Research Foundation, established in 1999, is dedicated to conducting and funding research on Pionus species parrots, while sharing findings with both scientific and avicultural communities. The foundation collaborates with various organizations to deepen knowledge and awareness about the conservation of these unique parrots.
Through initial studies in Ecuador and subsequent research trips, the foundation has enhanced understanding of breeding behaviors and ecological needs of the Bronze-winged, Red-billed, and White-headed Pionus parrots. Love this lil local bar to play a game of pool and get a reasonable priced drink!!!! Not to mention they olemon pepper baked wings are pretty dang good!!!!
