For the youngest beginners, we offer Musikgarten classes. A: Lessons are given at Southern Park Music School located at 4805 Park Road, Suite 230 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Please visit our Contact Information page for more details, maps, driving directions, etc. A: Southern Park Music School will NOT cancel lesson due to bad weather. If lessons must be rescheduled by an individual teacher, they will be made up according to the guidelines under the "Missed Lessons" section below. A: Registration for a term of private lessons entitles the student to 18 lessons at a specific time each week. The teacher is under no obligation to make up lessons missed by the student. Lessons postponed by the teacher will be made up before the end of the term. If a teacher has scheduled a make-up lesson and the time has been agreed upon by the student and parent ( if applicable ), the teacher is under no obligation to make up this lesson, should the student be absent. Question: Do students at Southern Park have the opportunity to participate in festivals and competitions? The teacher will assist the student in selecting appropriate repertoire. A. Yes, during the school year there are one or two recitals per month on Sunday afternoons in the recital hall at the school.
