Superior Bakery, founded in 1956 by John S. Poulos, has been a staple in Fayetteville, NC, for over 60 years. After immigrating from Greece in 1951, John began his journey in the culinary world as a dishwasher before establishing the bakery on Raeford Road.
In 1971, the bakery relocated to Hope Mills Road, where it continued to thrive under the guidance of John and his wife, Kay Paliouras. Today, the business remains in the family, operated by their son, Nicko Poulos, who carries on the legacy of quality and community service.
