History

Stevens Book Shop is one of the most established single location bookstores in the United States, serving its customers for over 50 years with half a million titles on various subjects. Our store occupies a 39,000 sq ft space cock full of rows of titles. It was founded by Mr.Stevens in 1954. Mr. Stevens specialized in Theological texts with Stevens Bookshop beginning with book trade at South East Baptist Seminary. In short order it began expanding into every topic imaginable! This large and eclectic collection is well worth the visit!

Stevens Book Shop is a huge used bookstore! We have many titles on every subject imaginable! We also have Comics, Video Games, DVD's, CD's, VHS, Records, Audio books, and even one or two cassettes still kicking around. We have been serving customers for over 60 year! Our store occupies a 39,000 sq ft space with over 500,000 titles in gently used condition. We are constantly working to improve our organization, and a sales associate is always more then willing to assist you in finding the right section within our massive maze of books! We do have a buy back program and can offer cash for gently used textbooks, as well as theological academia. Mr. Stevens first started the book store via SEBS book buy back and re-sell. We have a rather large and impressive theological collection (biggest on the east coast in fact) that includes many commentaries, concordances, and reference materials!
