St. Phillips Moravian Church
St. Philips Moravian Church, located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, is a historic congregation of the Moravian Church in America Southern Province, established in 1822 among a predominantly enslaved population. Recognized as one of the oldest Black congregations in the United States, it is the only historic African-American Moravian congregation in the country, with worship held in the Historic Brick Church at the Old Salem Museum and Gardens Complex.
The church's mission emphasizes unity in essentials, liberty in non-essentials, and love in all things, fostering a uniquely intimate family atmosphere for its members and visitors. Regular worship services and fellowship programs invite the community to engage in a shared spiritual journey.
