HistoryAfter graduating from Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in England, Dr. Mendel started his first practice in 1978 in Durango, Colorado. He later practiced in Mill Valley, California in the Bay Area, Sydney and Mount Barker, Australia where he had a large farm and now in North Carolina. I have always followed my desire to learn what could most help patients rather than what would make me the greatest income. The main Chiropractic techniques I discovered which were most effective included Applied Kinesiology, SOT, Spinal Stressology, Diversified, extremity techniques, some of which I developed myself. Over the years, I have continued to deepen my knowledge and practice of Naturopathy, Chinese medicine and Neuro-emotional technique.SpecialtiesThis is a truly holistic practice. Our services include Chiropractic care plus Naturopathic care (the use of nutrition, diet, detection and treatment of food allergies, Candida yeast, hidden bacterial infection, heavy metals detoxification, etc. to improve the health of organs and body chemistry. Additionally, Dr. Mendel specializes in Neuro-emotional Technique, which detects and clears negative emotions hidden in the body affecting health. Dry needling, acupressure methods, myofascial soft tissue work and cold laser therapy are additional therapies used to clear pain and tension in muscles, ligaments and joints.
