Snap Dragon is a nautically themed gastropub located on Burnsville's historic town square honoring Burnsville's namesake, Captain Otway Burns and his heroic efforts aboard his ship, Snap Dragon, during the war of 1812. We have a full service bar featuring North Carolina craft beer, wine, and craft cocktails. Our burgers, hotdogs, spring rolls, and meatballs are made from local ingredients as well as our salads and other items. We are open year-round and strive to be Burnsville's favorite local tavern.

Highly recommend Snap Dragon for any type of adult beverages. The bartender was very attentive in wanting to ensure we were satisfied. Definitely a community bar that makes you feel right at home....

We came on a chilly night and sat right inside by the opened garage door. It was tucked in enough to make it comfortable from the cold. The place was packed and we were fortunate to get a table....
