Smithfield Middle School

Smithfield Middle School serves students in grades six through eight. It offers a range of general academic and extracurricular programs. The school also offers several sessions in art, music, keyboarding and physical education. In addition, the school offers programs in technology exploration, business education and computer applications. The school operates several student organizations, such as the National Junior Honor Society, a band, cheerleading team, and book and creative writing clubs. It provides foreign language programs in Spanish. The school also provides guidance and counseling services to its students. Located in Smithfield, N.C., the school is a part of the Johnston County School District, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools.
