Our story is one of a small Western North Carolina farm that is taking the craft of brewing back in time to when farmers grew their own ingredients and would craft fine artisan ales by hand. At Sideways Brewery it’s about being small and agile, using what ingredients you have during the season they are available. It’s about coexisting with nature and our surroundings - giving each of our beers a sense of time and place. Our unique hand-crafted ales are bottle conditioned using local wildflower honey for a softer carbonation and more complex flavor. The farm tasting room offers no taps, instead pouring directly from our bottles for guided tastings, by the glass, or purchase 750 mL bottles.
