Shoresound Productions LLC

Shoresound has had a long and fruitful history. The company began in 1978 as a record label for a band Tommy Robbins started in 1976. He and the band performed at many events up and down the Carolina coastline. The band called it quits in 1979, and all the members went in different directions. Tommy continued to pursue his musical interests part-time, playing live music as a drummer. Next, he began to actively experiment in the DJ field. This was a new and exciting venture, even though Tommy had played pre-recorded music for school dances and recitals since 1973. Soon he was working, "playing music" almost every weekend at local clubs and for private and company parties. He could play any song that people wanted to hear and when they wanted to hear it. This was quite a feat during those years, since all music then was on records and cassette tapes. Tommy's lovely wife Teresa has always helped with the music business. Tommy and Teresa met in 1975, and they married in 1981. This husband and wife team has performed, both together and individually, at over 700 wedding events since 1989 the year Tommy finally made Shoresound Productions LLC a full-time venture. Shoresound Productions LLC has continued to flourish. Tommy and Teresa's two daughters have begun to take part in the business as well. Catherine focuses on the technical aspects of the company, while Kimberly provides DJ services for Shoresound. This close-knit familial atmosphere plays a major role in the success of Shoresound Productions LLC.
