The center assists community members in meal preparation, bathing, showering, shampooing and shaving, medication reminders, motion exercises, incontinent care and toileting. It also provides services, including laundry, housekeeping, transportation, socialization, reading and letter writing assistance, and shopping and errands. The center arranges various visits to doctors and physicians for regular checkups, and social outings, picnics and trips. Additionally, it assists in providing long-term facility placements, treatment for injuries, and terminal illnesses and surgeries. It offers 24-hour respite and emergency care to people throughout the state of North Carolina. Home Care at the Lake is located in Mooresville, N.C.
