Sezmin S. Noorani, MD

I believe in putting excellent clinical care into context. Every person brings their own story—their culture, history, trauma, and goals—to our offices, and I believe it is my job to help you choose most informed and appropriate decision for you. My interests include trauma-informed care, cultural humility, and healthcare disparities.

I feel that I'm best as an educated guide for the patient, helping the patient navigate decision-making, health care options and lifestyle options as the patient's advocate. Outside of work, I enjoy local community service at schools and SECU House.

A board-certified nurse midwife, I provide full scope midwifery care in both the community and hospital setting. I am passionate about well person and pregnancy care. I enjoy helping and educating teens and adults through life’s transitions, including wellness, illness and pregnancy. My approach to healthcare is to create an understanding partnership with patients that last a lifetime. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with family, crafting, reading and watching Clemson football and Investigation Discovery.
