History

In 2001, Founder Dorothy Samson began selling her handmade soap at farmers markets in Western NC and Charlotte. Her husband Jim and one of her daughters, Jennifer began working along side of her as demand for her wonderfully nourishing soap increased. In 2020, the shop moved to downtown Newton to allow for more space for customers and went through a name change. The new and expanded space in charming downtown has allowed the business to grow and to offer workshops, birthday parties and to offer more products, among them from other local makers and artisans.
