History

Seagreen Gallery - Duck is in its first year. Our original store (Seagreen Gallery 10.5 mile post in Nags Head) is beginning its tenth year. Seagreen is a family owned and hands on gallery. Between the four of us we create about 40% of our inventory. Seagreen's story began about 8 years ago when we bought a 1946 building right on the beach road that had been Gray's Department store; another family run business. Restoring the building and the sandy backyard was our first repurposing endeavor. Our 'family' also includes our hardworking staff who compliment and complete our day to day as well as being artists that create for the gallery. We have taken these efforts 15 miles north to a beautiful store on the Duck sound-side boardwalk. Check out both locations!

Specialties

Seagreen is a destination like no other. We are an independent family owned and run gallery that is filled floor to ceiling with things reconfigured and recycled from antiques, farm objects, barn wood, licence plates, antique bottles and windows, things from the sea and things from nature. But that's only the beginning. Our gallery also make framed mirrors from tumbled antique bottle shards. We take the old windows and pour resin and place bottle slices and bottoms to make an updated repurposed stained glass. etc.. etc
