Dr. John Yoakum graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biochemistry from North Carolina State University in 1991 and earned his Doctor of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1995. He completed a residency in Cornea Disease and Contact Lenses at the Eye Institute in 1996. Dr. Yoakum has been in private practice in Greensboro, NC, since then and is a 29-year member of the AOA Contact Lens Section.
