Loaves & Fishes Ministries is a non-profit organization based in Warrenton, NC that operates a food pantry to serve the local community. Unfortunately, their telephone system and computers were recently damaged during a thunderstorm, and they are in need of financial assistance to replace or repair the equipment. A special fund has been set up to accept donations, and anyone who is able to contribute can do so by mailing or dropping off their donation at the ministry's location. The food pantry can be reached at 252-257-1160, but due to the damage, there is currently only one operating telephone line, so callers are asked to be patient. EBENEZER BAPTIST CHURCH was founded in 1916. The founding Pastor was Rev. Erastus Lucas. Services were held initially in homes ; and on August 16, 1916, EBENEZER BAPTIST CHURCH was born. Its birth began in a one-room school building, which stood only a few yards from where the present church now stands. EBENEZER continues to witness for Christ and has multiplied in its ministry, membership and facilities.In November 1970, EBENEZER BAPTIST CHURCH, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, sought a Pastor. Biblical teaching is available to give the New and Growing Christian a full diet of spiritual food.
