Port City Java has been waking up Wilmington, NC since 1995. Nestled in the heart of historic downtown, our first café quickly became a hub for coffee lovers in the community. Our admittedly simple goals were to bring great, fresh-roasted coffee to our neighbors with the help of a charming but ever mischievous 15-kilo Ambex roaster. Port City Java has evolved and grown to operate over 30 cafes as well as its own bakery, roastery and distribution center since then. We look forward to seeing you soon!

This Port City Java has a drive-thru, but we decided to get out of the car and go inside. Perhaps that was a mistake, because it took a good 20 minutes to get a simple cup of drip black coffee....
