OSA Assessment & Counseling Services also offers assessments for DWI offenders pre- and post-trial, court-ordered substance abuse assessments for non-DWI offenders, and initial and follow-up Department of Transportation and Substance Abuse Professional evaluations. Community members can attend Alcohol Drug Education Traffic School (ADETS) through OSA Assessment & Counseling Services. Typically, someone who is a first-time DWI offender and is deemed not at risk for substance abuse handicap will be encouraged to attend ADETS, an early form of substance abuse intervention. Students will learn about mood-altering drugs and develop a plan that facilitates living a happy and healthy life.
