Founded by Oliver and Ruth Penland in 1972, the company got its start as a modest knick knacks and rocking chair store. Under the vision and direction of Penland's owners, Penland's has flourished in becoming one of the highest consumer rated furniture stores in Western North Carolina. Penland's Furniture success is attributed from their vision of Striving to provide customers with the best furniture at the absolute best price! For nearly 40 years Penland's has been successful in doing such and so the stream of satisfied customers continues to grow.
