Pediatric Specialty Care is a child-friendly medical group that provides subspecialty children s care services. It offers pulmonary care services for respiratory diseases, cystic fibrosis and asthma; and nephrological treatment services for children with abnormal kidney function, nephrotic syndrome, glomerulonephritis and hypertension. The group also provides gastrointestinal care for digestive disorders, gastric bleeding, malnutrition and reflux, as well as treatment and diagnostic options of congenital heart diseases for adults. Pediatric Specialty Care at the East Carolina University additionally performs bronchoscopy, pulmonary function testing, electrophysiology, pacemaker installation, echocardiography, colonoscopy and endoscopy procedures. It is located in Greenville, N.C., and is a part of ECU Physicians, which is a network of practice groups that is managed by the East Carolina University.
