History

Palm Coast Tours & Outings is operated by Susanne and Les Pendleton, long-time residents of Fairfield Harbour in New Bern, North Carolina. Les has sailed the local waters here for over 30 years. They enjoy living in a resort community and they LOVE the New Bern area. For many years they have been unofficial ambassadors of this area of Eastern North Carolina introducing family and friends to the beauty and charm of the area. During their years of living in the resort community, they constantly encountered people who had no idea of the amazing history of New Bern and all the wonderful sites that could be visited within easy driving distance. So in 2012 they founded a business that would introduce visitors to all that New Bern and the surrounding coastal areas have to offer by offering Land Tours on their motor coach and Sailing Cruises on their gorgeous 41 ft. sailing yacht named Two Peas.

We have regular Bus Tours on our comfortable, air-conditioned motor coach that visit Historic Downtown New Bern, Beaufort, and the Fort Macon State Park. We have a comprehensive, fun tour of historical New Bern filled with fascinating stories of our town's past, our notorious citizens and famous visitors which include many U.S. Presidents. This tour of New Bern, North Carolina's Colonial Capital, has earned the top ratings from travelers. We also offer a fun all-day excursion that includes visits to Fort Macon State Park and the historic seaport of Beaufort. While on the bus, you can relax and enjoy the scenery while we give you all the history of the places we visit. We drop you off right at the front door to explore these places at your own pace. Our exhilarating yet relaxing Sailing Cruises on the Neuse River have our guests coming back again and again. Sailing on our 41 ft. sailing yacht named Two Peas is an extraordinary life experience that will create memories to last a lifetime. There is something magical about being on the water and moving along with just the awesome power of the wind. Susanne and Les share their love of the sea and knowledge of sailing that ensures safety, while providing a wonderful cruising experience on the Neuse River.
