The Old Depot Gallery and Association is a non-profit organization located in the historic Train Depot in downtown Black Mountain, NC. Established in 1976, it aims to preserve the century-old structure while promoting the teaching of mountain and heritage crafts in local schools.
The gallery features a master craft and fine art collection and organizes a biannual juried art show, Art by the Tracks, to fund heritage art projects. By supporting local artists and craftspeople, the Old Depot plays a vital role in the cultural life of the Swannanoa Valley community.
