Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center

New Hanover Health Network is a nonprofit health care system serving southeastern North Carolina and northeastern South Carolina. A teaching hospital and regional referral center, the network is dedicated to providing a range of health care services. It includes three general hospitals, New Hanover Regional Medical Center and Cape Fear Hospital in Wilmington, N.C., and Pender Memorial Hospital in Burgaw, N.C. New Hanover Health Network offers many health care services, from ambulatory surgery to trauma departments. The network's volunteer board of trustees is appointed by the New Hanover County Commissioners, with representation from Pender County. It is a teaching site affiliated with the University of North Carolina s Chapel Hill School of Medicine. New Hanover Health Network maintains corporate headquarters in Wilmington.
