New Hope Valley Railway, also known as the “Triangle’s Train,” operates under the North Carolina Railway Museum to provide visitors with a historic train ride experience. The hour-long round trip journey spans 4 miles of historic railroad track, offering scenic views through piney woods and over a trestle from Bonsal to New Hill and back. While steam locomotive rides are not currently available, diesel locomotives ensure an equally thrilling excursion.
On select ride days, the railway also offers food and drink options for passengers to enjoy during their nostalgic adventure.
