Myrover-Reese Thrift Store is a well-established organization in Fayetteville, NC, with a rich history of over 50 years. Founded by Jimmy Myrover and Pat Reese, along with the support of Alcoholics Anonymous, they opened the first halfway house for recovering alcoholics in North Carolina. Today, they operate three programs that can accommodate up to 42 individuals, offering supervised living and veteran services, along with a range of facilities such as nature trails, gardening, a woodman's workshop, and an exercise room.
In addition to their programs, Myrover-Reese Thrift Store also runs a friendly thrift shop where visitors can shop, donate, or volunteer. With a dedicated staff, the store provides a welcoming environment for those looking to contribute or find affordable items. Their commitment to helping others help themselves is evident in their long-standing presence and the support they offer to individuals on their journey to recovery.
