Mountain Pathways Montessori School is a teacher-led, non-profit educational institution in Boone, NC. Serving families with children aged 18 months to 6 years old, the school faced significant challenges in September 2024 when Hurricane Helene caused severe damage to its campus, forcing a temporary closure.

Despite the adversity, the school community rallied together, and after several months of displacement, the Children’s House reopened its doors on February 3rd, 2025. Unfortunately, the Norwood House campus, which housed elementary and summer camp programs, will remain closed due to irreparable damage.

As Mountain Pathways continues its journey of recovery, efforts are underway to rebuild and enhance classroom facilities. The school welcomes support from individuals and businesses through various giving opportunities to help restore and improve learning environments for its students.
