Milkweed Meadows Farm
Milkweed Meadows Farm, a 5th generation family farm located in Fruitland, North Carolina, is dedicated to cultivating native milkweed and other pollinator-friendly plants to support monarch butterflies and other wildlife. The farm, once known for producing dairy for Biltmore Dairy Farms, now focuses on enhancing natural habitats and offering a variety of native wildflower seeds, heirloom vegetable seeds, and specialty fruits.
Under the stewardship of farmer Kim Bailey, an environmental educator with over 25 years of experience, the farm provides educational programs, farm tours, and opportunities for community engagement. Milkweed Meadows Farm also participates in local events to promote awareness and appreciation for pollinators, fostering a deeper understanding of their crucial role in the ecosystem.
