Merritt Chesson Photography began as a documentary portrait business and expanded to cover events and incorporate more artistically intentional approaches to shooting and editing.
Specialties
Merritt's approach to photography is interactive and natural, capturing those spontaneous moments and keeping posing to a minimum. Flash is used minimally, with a preference for natural light. As a primarily relational person, Merritt naturally gravitates toward emotional, intimate, authentic people and experiences.
