I don't understand why they have a low rating. I've been in Charlotte for 11 years and this was the first place I came. Even when my job changed I never changed doctors because I loved this place...

History
Mecklenburg Medical Group began as a private practice in 1936 when James Moses Alexander, MD, opened the doors to a new medical practice in Uptown Charlotte, NC. Situated in an area that is now occupied by Discovery Place, this new practice operated during a time when there was no Penicillin or ECG machines. Today, the practice has over 100 physicians in medical specialties ranging from internal medicine, cardiology, dermatology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, pulmonology, rheumatology and sleep medicine in 10 locations throughout the greater Charlotte area.

Internal Medicine (adult primary care) services for routine medical needs such as physicals, health screenings and treatment of illness. We offer same day sick appointments through our Express Care walk-in clinic as well as laboratory, x-ray and diagnostic testing.

These people are clean, quick and friendly. What else would you want from a doctor? I would not want to go anywhere else.

I have been with Mecklenburg Medical Group for almost 20 years and have always been satisfied with my visits. I have seen the same Primary Care Physician, but love that if I need a same day visit...

I see over 8 doctors in MMG (I'm a caregiver), and in my experience, the doctors are always quite knowledgeable and friendly. However, MMG has a very strict late policy. If you are 10 minutes...
