McGees Crossroads Middle School

McGee's Crossroads Middle School, located in Benson, N.C., is a part of Johnston County Schools. The school s academic programs help to enhance the intellectual, physical, social, academic and emotional skills of students in grades six through eight. It has an enrollment of approximately 600 students and employs more than 20 teachers. McGee's Crossroads Middle School offers elective classes in band, chorus, art, biotechnology, computers and Spanish. The school additionally provides several physical education programs and intramural sports activities, such as baseball, basketball, cheerleading, football, soccer, softball, volleyball, and track and field. It offers membership for art, bookworm, chess, dance, oceanography, publishing and yearbook clubs. McGee's Crossroads Middle School operates various organizations, including Future Farmers of America (FFA) and Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).
