Bill Hefner Elementary School serves students from prekindergarten through grade five. I chose to get into the field of orthotics and prosthetics to help people. Our devices give back function for people to reach their goals and perform necessary activities of daily living. This field is a mixture of medicine, science, engineering, and working with your hands. My philosophy of patient care is to put the patient first. I have to listen to what they are looking for and put their needs at the forefront. When I am not at work, I like to golf and to spend time with my family.

Overhills Middle School, located in Spring Lake, N.C., offers an extensive curriculum for students in grade six through eight. The school is affiliated with the Harnett County Schools. It offers a variety of subjects, including English, language arts, literature, social studies, physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics and health and physical education. The school also has various special subjects, such as foreign language, music, cultural arts and computer technology. The school also provides the Study Island program, a provider of Web-based state assessment preparation and standard-based learning programs. It offers food service through its cafeteria. Overhills Middle School has a parent-teacher organization and offers counseling service to review the overall upbringing of the children.
