Hardwood Store of N.C., Inc Hardwood Store opened in October 1996. Located in Gibsonville, which is three miles nothre of Interstate 85 and 40 between Greensboro and Burlington, we are just 15 minutes from Greensboro and 60 minutes from Raleigh. Our goal is to provide the best lumber and service at the best price in the lumber industry. From the response of our customers ( friends ) we believe we are well on our way toward attaining this goal. We believe our service is beyond compare. Our staff is composted of experienced woodworkers who are glad to help you with your projects. We also draw on the extensive knowledge of our customers. It is not unusual to have our customers interact with one another while in the store. So if you are new to woodworking please do not hesitate to come see us. Everyone has to start somewhere. When we first opened we were in a 12, 000 sq.ft. facility. In 2005 we moved into a 43, 000 sq.ft. facility. We now have a 2, 000 sq.ft. showroom with 45 different hardwood floors installed for you to look at. Each floor is approximately 20 sq.ft so you can see a good representation of the different floors. The walls in our offices are lined with different types of tongue and groove material. We also have cabinet doors on display. We have increased our lumber inventory to include may exotic woods.
