History
Chef Katz was born and raised in New Orleans where he found his passion for food. After he graduated from Johnson and Wales he went on to work in some of the finest restaurants in New Orleans, including Commander's Palace and The Grill Room at Windsor Court, eventually becoming Executive Chef at Restaurant Indigo, which was rated extraordinary two years in a row. Unfortunately, Indigo was hit hard by hurricane Katrina. After evacuating, he spent many years in Northern Virginia working for corporate restaurants before he found his way to Charlotte. Yearning to get back to cooking the foods he loves, he bought himself a food truck and is proud to bring authentic poboys and other New Orleans favorites to the Charlotte area.

Welcome to Magnolia's where we strive to serve the freshest and most delicious food out there. We offer traditional poboys and New Orleans fare. All of our products are cooked fresh each day including fresh cooked roast beef and turkey. Never store bought.
