Maggie Valley United Methodist Church has a rich history of over one hundred fifty years, having originally built a sanctuary and public school by the banks of Jonathan Creek. Today, it serves the local community with a focus on worship and service, embracing both full-time and seasonal residents as well as visitors.

Under the guidance of Rev. Dianne Lawhorn and Rev. Mike Shirley, Maggie Valley UMC offers various programs including Bible studies, community meals, and a dedicated Food Pantry.
