The MacGregor Downs Country Club golf course is rated annually as one of the top courses in the Southeast. As the former home of a PGA Tour event in the early 1970s and The Intercollegiate, a top collegiate tournament that featured the top 12 teams in the country, some of the greatest players in the game have walked MacGregor s fairways, including Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Lee Trevino, Phil Mickelson, David Duval and Chris Dimarco. The country club also features an Olympic-size swimming pool with an active swim team program as well as eight lighted tennis courts and three teaching pros. MacGregor also offers banquet services for receptions, parties and golf outings.

The golf course is breathtaking and so convenient. The food in the club house is tasty and the golf pros are knowledgeable. Great spot.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. I've been here a few times and this place is horrible. The people here act like this place is a PGA Course when it's not. Very unprofessional.
