Founded in 1998, LendingTree is an online lending and realty services exchange that empowers consumers to choose from up to four competitive loan offers from major, national, regional and local lenders throughout the United States. It also connects customers with a network of realtors that represent major franchises and independents nationwide that can help them buy or sell their homes. Lenders on the LendingTree network offer an array of loan products including mortgage and refinance loans, home equity loans, auto loans, personal loans and credit cards. LendingTree joined InterActiveCorp and allied itself with a number of businesses, including Expedia, Ticketmaster, Home Shopping Network and Match.
