About Givens Estates Givens Estates is a non-profit Life Plan Community (also known as a continuing care retirement community or CCRC) located on 215 acres in Asheville, North Carolina. For more than 40 years, our community has served the greater Asheville area by supporting residents in leading purpose-driven lives. In addition to providing quality services and amenities, our community is financially sound with strong leadership. Givens Estates has been accredited by CARF since 1993, meaning our community has passed an in-depth review based on national and international quality standards. Givens Estates has also received a A- rating by Fitch Ratings, indicating a positive outlook based on strong occupancy and financial strength.

Operational since 1989, Sunnybrook Assisted Living has been providing independent living to its residents. The center has various amenities, such as dining rooms, in-house beauty salon, cable television, individual climate control in every suite as well as in-house emergency call systems. Based in Hendersonville, N.C., it enables residents to decorate their suite as per their choice of furnishings and accessories. In addition, Sunnybrook Assisted Living offers social, recreational and educational activities. The center has suites with private bathrooms, closets, adjustable window blinds and security alarms.
