At Triad Primary Care in Greensboro, North Carolina, the team has a definitive mission: To provide personalized, high-quality care on an as-needed or preventive basis. When the practice opened in 2006, its founders aimed to create a practice they believed in - a place where they would want to bring their family members. Triad Primary Care is a full-service local family practice and same day appointments facility, providing family and primary care, which includes physical exams. Patients have access to labs and other testing, such as COVID-19 PCR and antigen testing, and X-rays at the practice. The dedicated, experienced practitioners believe in helping patients maintain and improve their health.

Dr. Koop grew up in Jenison, Michigan and studied Psychology at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He then went on to attend Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago and received his Bachelor of Science of Visual Sciences degree, as well as his Doctor of Optometry Degree in 1996. Dr. Koop has a deep interest in myopia progression and it's effect on our younger population. He also has advanced training in dry eye treatments. Dr. Koop moved to Greensboro in 2000 and has been the owner of Vision Source Eye Center of the Triad since 2003. He lives in Greensboro with his wife, Angela, and 2 children Carly and Sam. He is a die-hard University of Michigan fan as well as loyal Detroit Lions, Tigers, and Red Wings fan.
