Kriz Landscaping

History

Hi! I'm Richard Kriz, owner of Kriz Landscaping and Full Moon Landscape Lighting. I'm a Wake County native who grew up in Cary. I went to Catholic school for Elementary and Middle schools and Riverside Military Academy for high school until graduating in 1986. I went into the Marines in the summer of '86 and eventually became a Crew Chief of an Amphibious Assault Vehicle. I started my first landscaping job in 1990. I worked for a few landscape companies doing maintenance and then ended up as a Landscape Crew Leader at NC State University. I started Kriz Landscaping while at NC State and took the business into full-time operations in February of 1997. In 2002, I earned two state-level certifications (NC Registered Landscape Contractor and NC Certified Plant Professional). In 2008, I earned two national-level certifications in regards to pavers and block retaining walls. I have been doing landscape lighting, drainage, sod, waterfalls, etc. for many years as well.

Kriz Landscaping has been serving residential clients from Cary to Clayton and surrounding areas since 1997. Specialties include hardscapes, plant design/installation, landscape lighting, sod installation, drainage solutions and more.
