Kitty Askins Hospice Center

Established in 1981, Home Health & Hospice Care, also known as 3HC, is one of the leading health care providers in North Carolina. It is a community-based, nonprofit organization that is certified by Medicaid and Medicare. The organization s programs are accredited by the Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP). It staffs more than 400 professionals and operates a hospice center and over five clinical offices. The organization offers skilled nursing and respite care services and conducts physical, speech and occupational therapies. Home Health & Hospice Care is a member of the Association for Home and Hospice Care of North Carolina (AHHCNC), National Association for Home Care (NAHC) and National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO). The organization is accredited by The Joint Commission. Additionally, it provides assistance with day activities, including bathing, dressing and cooking. The organization offers treatment for cancer, HIV/AIDS, bone marrow inflammation, leukemia and hemophilia. It also provides several rehabilitative services.
