I am a member of the ASTS, the International Liver Transplantation Society (ILTS), the European Society of Organ Transplantation (ESOT) and the Americas/ International Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Associations (AHPBA/ IHPBA). I have a license to practice surgery and abdominal transplant in the United States, United Kingdom and Europe. I have spearheaded international comparative studies in the use of extended criteria liver allografts in general, transplant, pancreatic and hepatobiliary surgery and have co-authored over 70 peer-reviewed publications, in journals such as the American Journal of Transplant, Transplantation, Annals of Surgery, British Journal of Surgery, Nature Communications, the Lancet, and the New England Journal of Medicine. I have been a peer reviewer and special issue editor for high impact journals.
