I am passionate about promoting recovery from first episode psychosis using proven and innovative approaches to coordinated specialty care. As the Clinical Director of the OASIS Program at UNC Psychiatry, I oversee a multidisciplinary team that provides evidence-based and recovery-oriented services to young adults experiencing psychotic symptoms. In addition to my clinical role, I am an active member of the Consumer Advisory Board at the Psychosis Research Program at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where I collaborate with researchers, clinicians, and peers with lived experience of psychosis to advance the knowledge and practice of psychosis treatment and prevention.

Being a doctor combines my passion for learning about living things and helping people during their most difficult times. I believe people are more than just diagnoses, and achieving good mental health requires looking at peoples whole stories and meeting them where they are. I strive to build a strong partnership with my patients to find the treatments that work best for them. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety and a wide range of mental health issues.
