I believe that improving reproductive health of children and adolescents is very important. I provide age-appropriate and comprehensive pediatric and adolescent gynecology services to support the healthy development of our youth.

Becoming a nurse practitioner was important to me after seeing all the impact advanced practice providers (APPs) had on my father’s cancer journey. I wanted to do more for patients after being a bedside nurse. I enjoy gathering data, interpreting it, and developing a treatment plan with the patient. Knowing and respecting the patient’s care goals is most important in my patient care. Cancer treatment is not just about the drug and the result, but what the patient feels they want and need. They should feel heard and respected when they come to see us. Outside of work, I like to spend time with my family, take long walks with my husband, children, and two dogs. I also love to make macarons in my spare time.

I am a prenatal and reproductive genetic counselor with over five years of experience. I work closely with families during and prior to pregnancy to guide and support them in learning about how inherited diseases and conditions might affect them and their families, in making decisions about testing, and in interpreting genetic test results based on their personal and family history.
