David Havlik, a mortgage banker since 2006, moved to Charlotte in 1998 from Dallas, Texas. He has seen tremendous growth in the Charlotte area over the years and believes now is the beginning of yet another economic surge that Charlotte and its neighboring communities will experience during the next 10 years. David began his career in mortgage lending as a broker in 2006 at the tail end of a booming market. He then witnessed and worked through the great real estate downturn in the years that followed. In October of 2012 he became a retail mortgage banker. In 2014 David started as a Mortgage Banker with SouthState. This change has allowed David to offer a more robust product solution set to his clients and to deepen his focus on relationship banking. David continues to work closely with Charlotte's top producing agents while providing customized lending products to first\-time home buyers and high net\-worth clients. David's sales philosophy is not one of sales but one of service. David operates in a customer\-centric fashion driven by maintaining open lines of communication with all parties involved in the transaction. He sets proper expectations and provides regular updates for clients and partners allowing for a smooth closing experience.

Rosa A. Chavarria has over 30 years of experience in mortgage banking. She has a bachelor’s degree in educational studies from Belmont Abbey College. Rosa is very knowledgeable with down payment assistance programs in conventional and government mortgage loan products. She works with a full range of borrowers and especially enjoys working with first time homebuyers. Rosa ensures each homebuyer is comfortable with their new home purchase and they fully understand the mortgage transaction.
