For over 20 years, I have strived for excellence in caring for the whole patient, both medically and surgically, and have devoted my career to educating and mentoring family physicians. As a professor at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, I have led the transformation of UNC Family Medicine’s clinical surgical services and residency procedural curriculum. Since 2014, I have trained and mentored nine fellows and over 100 residents as Director of Career Development Fellowship in Family Medicine Procedures.
