My original career focus was driven towards scientific research that benefitted medicine. However, I felt my qualities were better utilized with serving the public and becoming a Physician Assistant. My goal is to build a trusting and collaborative relationship with my patients. I want my patients to feel as vested in their health as I do. When you have a cohesive relationship with your patients, medical decision-making is much easier. My interest is in primary care, which encompasses a little of everything. You never know what you are going to get when you come to work. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son, traveling and experiencing new cultures and cuisine, and staying healthy with exercising.

A native of Winchester, Virginia, Dr. Baylis received her bachelor's degree and Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas in 1998. She credits her passion for chiropractic to, at a young age, watching her mother successfully overcome illness with the help of a chiropractor.
