History
I grew up watching my grandfather hand-letter signs and bend neon in the 80's when he owned his Long Island sign shop. From an early age I asked questions about the laws of lettering, and at around 7 years old my grandmother bought me a rolling ruler from a TV commercial and basically I never stopped drawing. Even as I grew up and sometimes tried to deny my fate, friend would request little sketches or tattoo designs. So I eventually went to design school at 28 years old, the same day my son began 1st grade. Before graduation, I already had work out in the community because of my sign shop internship, and I was taking commissions.
