Surgery, and specifically colorectal surgery, is a field with plentiful opportunities to help patients with issues ranging from inflammatory bowel disease to cancer to diverticulitis. \n Being a physician allows me to blend my love of science and my desire to help people lead healthier lives. Medicine connects people with science - and, for me, there's nothing better. \n I want to be part of my patients' journeys to better health, so I approach healthcare in a patient-driven manner. Outside the office, there's no one I'd rather spend time with than my family - and our dog. We enjoy playgrounds, hiking and walking and all types of sports - whether we're playing or just watching. I also enjoy cooking and grilling for a big group of family and friends.
