History

In 1999, the Jackson County [NC] landfill closed down. In 2005, the leaders of Jackson County decided to do something with the landfill. Site cleanup began, along with the installation of the gas system and wells. Since then, we have added a metal studio, a glass studio, a gallery, and pottery kilns.

Specialties

Art with a focus on renewable energy. We offer classes in blacksmithing and glassblowing and feature an art gallery. Call and visit us to learn more.
